A leading specialist insurer is seeking a strategic and technically accomplished leader to head its Construction Insurance & Claims division. This is a high-impact role overseeing complex CAR/EAR, engineering, and infrastructure claims across the UK and international portfolios.What You'll Do
- Lead a high-performing claims team across construction and specialist lines
- Oversee major loss investigations, coverage analysis, and resolution strategies
- Collaborate with underwriting, legal, and risk teams to shape portfolio performance
- Represent the business in market forums, client negotiations, and technical panels
- Drive operational excellence and regulatory compliance across the division
- Extensive experience in construction insurance and complex claims
- Strong technical knowledge of CAR/EAR, liability, and engineering risks
- Proven leadership in managing teams and strategic claims portfolios
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Professional qualifications (ACII, CILA, engineering) preferred
- Salary: Neg depending on experience
